Hello everyone,
I just got my Twin Center to talk to my WDP 9.0 demo on my PC. (They should really make it more clear in the instructions that a null modem cable is NOT suitable for this!)
In any case, I now have the allowed max (in the demo) of two locs under WDP control. However, the WDP manual led me to believe that the TC provides feedback to WDP about throttle and switch positions, but I can't get this feature to work - the WDP throttle does not react to TC throttle changes.
I've ticked all the relevant boxes in System->Hardware, and can't find anything I need to do on the TC side to enable this feature. It's not a show-stopper if I can't get it working, but it's an annoying fault if it doesn't.
Anybody been there, done that?
Thanks
Tom

Well, after plenty more playing around, I can now answer my own question, at least in part. The feedback from the TwinCenter to WDP does work - for turnouts switched from the TwinCenter: the turnout is correctly shown switched on the WDP track map. However, I still can't get WDP to display throttle changes or other locomotive control inputs from the TwinCenter in its locomotive control windows. I'm beginning to think this is a feature that was never properly implemented.
Back to playtime!

Hi Tom,
I don't know a solution for your problem, but I can assure you this feature has been properly implemented, because many users are using this feature (me also). Most of this users are users of the Intellibox, but the code for Intellibox and Twin Center inside WDP is identical and as far as we know the feedback information for throttle changes should be the same for the Twin Center as for the Intellibox. Which firmware version has your Twin Center?
Best wishes
Markus
