Error in Track Diagram Editor

Hello

When I'm trying to put in a text in my diagram I got the following dialog and an error code. See the picture
Can anyone help me, to solve the problem?

Hi Alex,

welcom in the forum! Which version of WDP do you use? What was exactly the text you wanted to enter? Are there any " or ' in it? If so then try again without them.

Could you please fill out the signature in your private profile in this forum? Then we do not alway have to ask which version of WDP you use or which tracks or or or... (and you do not have to repeat them again and again).

The version is WD Pro-X.

I'm sorry but I'm not a hardcore user of any new groups, so therefore I'm not familiar with all the information you are asking for.
I just have a problem writing a text in the trackdiagram.
I never got the posibility to write anything, when choose "abc" in the trackdiagram and point where I want the text I got the box with the error code.
I also have to point out that I have text which I have put in in an earliere time.

Hey Alex,

Did you go to the track-editor, and on the (popup)panel where you make your symbol choice (track, points, etc.)
On the top of this popup you will find as in the picture "ABC" ment for textinput. after selecting this button, then you select the location where you want the text. and an other popup will open with the inputfield and other "Text-options".

ps, What Stefan ment, that if you fill in your profile, with information about your model materials, like used centrall system, decoders and track etc etc, it is easyer for all of us to help without asking the same questions allover again.

Back to your problem: I understand that you wrote some text but now it doesn't work? What exactly is the error message? Is it plain text you want to enter or are there any special characters like /,\," or ' ?

What you also could try is to start the WDP Data Maintenance und click on "Repair + Compress". Sometimes this helps.

The problem is that I never got the choise to write any text. When I have choosen the "abc" an point to where I want to write a text I got the attached windows with the error code.
I have earliere written text in my track diagram, so it has functioned. I have also tried to use "Datenplege" without any succes.

Hey Alex,

I've tried to duplicate your error, in many ways. I could'nt  reproduce this.

A while ago i had simular problems, i was not able to write text or chance a point.
On the German forum they advised me to open "Datenpflege" and in this to reset my screen position.
for me this was the answer, you should try it, it does not change any of your data.. only reset some internal settings regarding the screenposition (like if you change from 2 to 1 screen)

I have tried to do as you said, but without any succes, another think I have seen to day, was that I couldn't use the Route Editor, I got the same error.
So what have done today is that I have deleted the complete WD and reinstalled it again, and the I one by one has restored the different programs back in a new project. The only program I haven't restored was system setting this I did from the beginning. Now it is running again, but I can't see what is rung, at that is for me not so well.
What I haven't installed yet is the update packaged 1 - 3, that the next I will try.
