Problem WD-2009

I just installed the new program. Following indications Aguiló Station carried out the installation on the directory where you have the Small version X. Apparently everything without problems.

I open the program and I get my plot routes and everything just as he did, except the appearance of the program. I want to place the icons in a certain way, and the bar of locomotives in a certain position. I do it, but to exit and re-enter everything appears to start with the design and not as he had previously placed. How can I keep the changes I make and that bar icons and locomotives are as they were?

I have some questions concerning your installation because this may be interesting for your problem.
* Which language do you use with your WDP 2009? English, Spanish, German?
* Which version of WDP 2009 do you have: Demo, Premium or Small?
* You had WDP Small X before and installed WDP 2009 into the same directory?

Try this: start the WDP file maintenance. There you should see a button called "Delete old files" or similar. Press this button and try to reposition your icons and bars again in the main program. Close the WDP main program and restart it. Did it work?

Could you please fill in your signature in this forum with information about your layout, WDP version and your computer? This is a help for us and you: we don't need to ask every time and you don't need to write it again and again.

Hi Stefan and thanks for your reply. The solution you propose does not work. But I have indicated a provisional and if it works.


The bug is located and is due to an internal error in naming the file that stores the information.

The solution is:

1 .- Open the program and configure the toolbars in the desired position.
2 .- Close the program.
3 .- Go to the directory where we installed Digipet Win-USERLAYOUT_2009.TB3 locate the file and rename it in USERLAYOUT_2009_SP.TB3
4 .- At this point we had set the settings each time you open the program.

I understood that you rename the file USERLAYOUT_2009.TB3 to USERLAYOUT_2009_SP.TB3 each time before you start Windigipet. Did I understand that correctly?

The file USERLAYOUT_2009_SP.TB3 is used to save all settings of your personal layout. If WDP can't find this file by start then it will always create a new one with default settings.

Why do you rename it?

My proposal: do not rename it and leave it as it is. If that doesn't work then delete the USERLAYOUT_2009_SP.TB3  before you start WDP. WDP will create a new one (with default settings) and it should work.

Hello all,

the problem ist inside the translation table for spain. We forgot to translate at one line the appendix _SP.

It will be saved alwasy as userlayout_2009.tb3 and loaded as userlayout_2009_SP.tb3
The catalan version is correctly !!

This will be corrected in one of the next updates !!
