Mr Peterlin.

I have purchased a copy of WDP Small with IB-Com Uhlenbrock Cat# 65070.
However it is in German which is no good to me.
Is there a solution to this by way of a patch?

Hello Rob,

at the end of september/ beginning october 2009 we want to release an english version of win-digipet 2009.
We plan to present a download possibility for the Small version 2009, but you always still need the original german CD as protection CD.
The version coming with the IB-COM is called Version 2009 Small Edition and not Small X Edition !!!!
The version 2009 Premium Edition will come with a new original CD.

Regards
P.Peterlin
PS: your private mail to me and your nice thread before is now also answered !

Mr Peterlin
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I am toying with the idea of purchasing WDP ProX.3 as I think I will hit the limitations of WDP Small shortly anyway.
Thus the language issue will be nil and void.

Vielen Dank
Rob

Hi
Will 2009 Premium Edition English also be able to run with Märklin Central Station 2?
I see that WDP Pro X.3 Demo does not.
Sorry to push you like this, I am sure you are a busy man however I am very keen to implement WDP on my layout combined with the IB-Com and then Lissy on top.
I will copy this discussion to the forum for the benefit of other users.

YES !

Sorry, but normally it's not usual in Germany to put private mails to public forums ! You should wait for my private answer to  do it.  In this case for the benefit of others it's OK.

Hi all
I am making headway.
I can now run trains with WDP via IB-Com and LISSY is up and running.
However I am under the impression that I should be able to run trains manually using the CS 2  WDP Small   IB_COM.
When I set “Controlled by Digital System” in “Locomotive Database/Loc-Decoder” to “Märklin Central Station 2”, I get the following.
All commands are shadowed back and forth between WDP and SC2, in other words anything I do in WDP the CS2 copies, and anything I do CS2, WDP copies.
But the Locomotives do not respond, I have power to the track but the digital commands do not seem to reach the loco.
I have tried too many things to report here, I’ll give you an example of the more silly attempts.
I was thinking of connecting both the IB-Com and the SC2 to the track at the same time.
The data from the CS2 is the same as that from WDP, just don’t call the same address at the same time with both controllers, I figured that the power supply of both CS2 and IB-Com are the same voltage and polarity and therefore complement each other.
Not so, they both had a hernia and I fainted, NZ$2,000 worth of equipment fried??, No, thank goodness for automatic overload protection, so much for that theory.
Am I missing/over looking/misunderstanding something?

Hello Rob,

Does your CS2 work without WDP connected to it?  If not, I would try to get the CS2 running correctly first before connecting WDP.  Just a thought, double check to see if you have connected the Red and Brown plug to the main track plug and not the programming track plug.  My CS2 and WDP shadow each other as you describe.  The latest update for the CS2 is 1.3.0 (1).

I'm not familiar with the IB_COM so I can't help you there.

Hope this helps,

Elliott

Hi Thomass and Elliott
Hereby answering both of you and thank you for the attempt.
My current CS2 Firmware is 1.3.0 (1).
My CS2 works fine by it self AND I can run trains from WDP if I have the CS2 connected to the track.
But I need the IB-Com connected to the track so I have LocoNet and LISSY active.
The manual seems to imply that manual control from the CS2 is possible, each loco in the database has an option to be controlled with the CS2.
Both IB-com and CS2 are connected via their normal track output, not the Programming track.
However whilst answering your posts I had another fiddle to get my facts straight and come to realize it is not that simple (Sigh) as I suspected, I need to create a route first and then difine a tour then add a loco to take a tour on the route which it will do automaticly, ONLY THEN can I do a manual run, sorta makes sence I suppose.
If I understand correctly, at the moment, I am not telling the loco to do anything other than to pull out (or set back) but the loco is not able to ask me "OK noddy, but where to".
Thank you gentlemen for answering and shaking the dust and cobwebs out of by brain.
The things we do for our hobbie, don't you love it.

Thank you.
Rob
