Win-Digipet 2009.1 English and windows 7
« am: 14. April 2010, 21:59:25 »
Hi,

I'm a great fan of win-Digipet 2009, and i'm using it with my märklin layout. Since my CS1 crapped out, i got a CS2 yesterday, and i've be batteling fiercely to get everything working.

I got everything set up on the CS2, and working from there. - And now i'm learning that the transfer functions from CS1 -> CS2 does not exist. - So be it, I understand that this is something Märklin changed.

I got one of my MFX locomotives running now, but when ever i try to get one of my FX locomotives running, i get this error:
Laufzeitfehler '6': Überlauf (i guess it means runtime error, overrun).

Oh, and to make things worse, i'm running Windows 7... :-)

Ok, since there hasn't been any reply to this, i am wondering if i should try reinstalling win-digipet again from scratch.
Does anybody know of an easy way to get ones project imported "the right way" after a clean reinstall?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi,
run time error 6 indicates, that there is a sign used which is not allowed because this sign is used in programms, e.g. /.
See this thread in which the same run time error was caused by a false sign
http://www.windigipet.de/foren/index.php?topic=63031.0
About the transfer from CS2 to WinDigipet and vice versa I know at first there was no possibility to transfer the locos from the loco-database in WinDigipet to CS2 because the CS2 provides no feature to accept these data. But I dont know the status this time. Maybe that there is a solution for this in one of the updates to version 2009. Please look up if you had updated to 2009.3. If not, you may download this last third update (which includes 1 and 2) from the following page:
http://www.windigipet.de/win-digipet-downloads/win-digipet-updates-zum-download/
Sorry that this is the update in German but so far as I know the English version will be available soon.
I hope you can solve your run time error.  :)

Hi,

Sorry, unfortunaly I was on a business trip for some days with only bad internet access.
I don´t have any idea what might cause this run time error in this context. Could you please describe step by step (click by click) what has to be done for reproducing this error? Maybe you could also upload a data backup (without track symbols and locomotive pictures). Then I can try to reconstruct this maybe at the weekend.

Regards
Markus

Hello,

Yes, the error consistently came whenever i tried to start a train that was not using MFX.
I have now fixed it, by redoing the speed-profile, since that for some strange reason went missing. It is all working quite nicely now. :-)
