WDP Track Diagram Missing

  Dear WDP Enthusiasts,
                                   I have a very intersting problem with my WDP 2009.4b Premium Englisg version:
This morning I activated my TRACK10b (km/hr) version only to discover one of my Turnuts with address 5 did not work correctly, in one direction no solenoid contol from WDP as possible, in the other diection two solenoid actions were made and remaind in that direction. By hand, both diections can be activated. To cut a long story short, my TRACK10b was the problem, TRACK10 (pre km/hr), turnout with address 5 works fine. Turnout 5 was errased and reinstalled in Track10b, problem still present. Track10b was then erased and a new project initiated using the data from Track10, once again named Track10b. When this was started, the track diagram was empty.
                                   Any suggestions, advice &/or general help would be greatly appreciated.

                      Many thanks for your reply. I have not loaded this new update, in fact it is the first I have heard about it. If you have time, can you send me more details ?

                    The new software .5 did not make any diffrerence. I reloaded my Track10b (Km/hr) from my PC, the track diagram was present. I then conentrated on turnout with address 5. The turnout worked prefectly in "Recording solenoid devices" but not in the main program. To cut a long story short, I erased address 5 and introduced address 53 which worked. I then went back to address 5 which now works again perfectly.

                      Absolutely correct, there is somthing strange happening here. This morning I used my TRACKb (km/hr) and my turnout with address 5 clicked over twice and remained in it's original postion. Testing the same turnout with the "Recording solenoid devices" it works O.K.
                      Once again when enabling a new project: km/hr and using the data from my pre km/hr prject TRACK10, the Track Diagram is missing from the new project.
                      Saturday, 28 Mai, I will attend the Berlin WDP stammtisch in Berlin with Christian Richter & others, (Bernd Senger is working), so I will discuss this (strange) problem there and of course give you more feedback !

p.s. WDP 2009.5 Premium Edition English used with a CS2.

  Goodmorning Stefan,
                                 My saga continues. I tried to delete TRACK10b (km/hr) with the turnout address 5 problem. No matter how I deleted it, it always came back into the WDP. After four attempts, I actually checked it out with the problem turnout, low & behold, it then worked perfectly, even after restarting WDP three times.
                                 Very, very strange.

Hi Dave,

I don't understand this behaviour.

Concerning the deleting: if you have once again problems deleting a symbol then first delete it, close the track editor (maybe even close WDP) and restart the track editor. This should help.

I think you have some missunderstandings about the different projects.

                                I certainly HAD more than one problem. Closing WDP & deleting Track10b in various sequences etc., seemed to be the answer for the turnout problem with address 5, as listed above with my Saturday morninig work. The Track Diagram issue is no longer a problem, as Track10b is working with km/hr initialised again, (I would love to know how I managed to screw that up ?). The stammtisch was super, shame you were not there Bernd. Made contact with two Märklinsts in Zehlendorf: Hans-Gunther Rogalla & Dieter Grabert, super leute !!!
                               Once again, many thanks to you both for your interest, advice, patience and of course your EXPERT HELP, it is always greatly appreciated.
