Lenz LR101 feedback decoder problem
« am: 30. Dezember 2011, 15:37:16 »
Hi - I wonder if anyone out there can help me? I'm a newbie to WDP & am having a few problems getting things going. I have a medium sized OO layout which I have recently converted to DCC very succesfully, using LENZ equipment. I am using temporarily the latest WDP DEMO software, & intend to updrade to a full version if I am happy with it.
My problem is with feedback. I use reed switches in the track connected to a pair of LENZ LR101 decoders. They work happily, & using the hand controller on "RM" mode, I can see the reeds working ok. I have been through the WDP manual, but can't quite understand how WDP knows what base addresses the LR101s are using. I have set them up in the "system settings" "feedback" tab, but I can'tget WDP to use them. It seems to check them ok on startup according to the data led on the USB LI unit, but it refuses to set the track sections to "occupied" on the track plan.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Many thanks - Chris S............>
