CS2 , boosters and short circuit not communicated.
« am: 03. März 2012, 17:51:54 »
Hi,
I have a trouble with cs2 and boosters.
The control K83/84 are piloted by the cs2. When I get a short-circuit on cs2 side, all trains on cs2 stop and k83/84 also, but all other trains on booster still running. There are no info going to PC, but because the k83/84 are not switched, all trains are going on the wrong ways and climb off the rails.
When the booster have a short, it just stop and didn't got a signal to the PC.

The trouble was the same with old booster not from marklin , and they always said that because its'nt not a good trader!
The CS2 60174 is version 2.0.1, booster 60174 version 2 and wdp 2009.5.

Any idea,
Thanks in forward.
Best regards
Andre

Trouble found.
After replacement one year ago, the new CS2 is a 60175, but the tranfo was a 60VA 60052.
Now with a 100VA 60101, the tension is 19v instead of 17V. Now a real short-circuit cut the CS2, all boosters, put the red bar and informe the PC.
All is ok.
Incident closed.
