Strange problem

Hello.

I have a strange problem..:  Normally I run WinDigipet on a Windows XP computer, and also a Buro-version on a Windows 7 PC.  All is working OK.

Now I have to use a newer Windows 7 PC for WinDigipet.  I have a newly installed Windows 7 on that PC, nothing else.  Next I installed WinDigipet directly from original CD.  All seems to be OK.  But I when I start this WinDigipet, I get the Message: (german) "Konvertierung WDIGILOK.MDB nach Version 2012 muss durchgefurt werden!".  So I click on OK.  Next it says it converts from V8.0 to 2012.  Strange..?  And than the program hangs.  Nothing more happens.

What can this be?  I have never had this problem before.

did you install the latest update directly after the Installation from the CD before restoring the program data?

Hello Per,

you have to install WDP as administrator. Look for setup.exe (or similar) on the CD. Make a right click on it and choose "Install as administrator". This is important for Win 7 and 8. Make the same with the update.

Yes, I installed again as administrator, as recommended, and now it works OK.
