No able to connect ECoS Central station to WDP

I do have some problems trying to conect my ECoS 50200 to WDP on my laptop.
I'm using WDP 12.2 Premium and Windows 7.
I have tried almost everything stated in the WDP Manual and Whitelisted "WDNetCtr.exe" in my Firewall.
Also tried both to connect with crossed cable and by Wifi Lan.
I am using the IP address stated in the ECoS, and also set in Port 15471 in the Firewall.
And also tried to use the Wizard in WDP...
But always I get the message: "A connection to the ECoS could not get! Control unit switched on?"
Therefor unable to get contact between my ESU Central station and the WDP.
Do any of your train friends have a solution og some hints? If so I'll be happy!

Hi futti,

Are you able to change the crosswire cable for a standard cable and try to connect over a switch ?
Most people have problems when using this crosswired cable for a connection.

When using wireless you must have connected your ecos also on your Router (switch) and it should work wenn typing the IP adess.

First things first, when connected wireless, and typing your Ecos IP in your browser, do you get a connection ?

You made my Christmas! Going over the straight cable and through a switch I now have contact and communication between the ECoS 50200 and my WDP... Thank you so much!
Merry Christmas from me, who had technical problem with other things than model train...
