Ports 15730 and 15731 not allowed.Märklin CS2

Lieber Stefan,
 My WDP Kumpel Dieter G., had a serious problem with a Märklin CS2- Sotware vesion 3.8.1 (11) and WDP. When both units were activated we were informed by WDP that "Ports 15730 und 15731 ist NICHT erlaubt".
Once again, to cut a long story short, I loaded CS2 software 3.7.0, corrected the I.P. incompatibility problem and all now works. As far as I can see, the problem is with Märklin CS2 software version 3.8.1. (11), as seen on two different systems (?). I have not found any reference to this problem on the NET, so it will be interesting to hear if any other WDP users have heard or even experienced the same problem ?

Hi David,
thx for your message. How's about the windows firewall. did you opened the specified ports? did you grant netwowork access for the network modules wdpudpv3.exe and wdpudpv4.exe. Please try to run both of them as administrator.
Within the Explorer go to the WDP-Directory -> look for the wdpudpvx files -> klick on it  with the right mouse button an select run as administrator.
Hope it works.

Update:- Today I was able to cofigure ports 15730 & 15731 to the satisfaction of Märklin CS2, using  :Dthe Windows 7 Firewall configuration tool. It now works. Many thanks once again to Bernd SENGER.
