Marklin 7639x series signals with 3 aspects
« am: 07. Juni 2016, 07:56:07 »
Hello again,
Has anyone installed marklin 763xx signals with windigipet..?? I am having a issue with 3 aspect signals (2 aspect I have no problem) If I issue a command from windigipet to the signal for slow mode..(i.e yellow and green) on the 763xx signal all aspects appear correct both on the signal, and within my CS 2, and the windigipet program. (this is also true for red and just green.) However if I go the other way from the CS 2 and make the same change, the signal changes correctly but windigipet doesn't recognize or responds to the command issued and just stays at the pervious aspect and does not notice any changes . If I change to red (or just green)it works correctly, (in both directions.) I am only having a problem with the green/yellow aspect. Is there a setup I have incorrect..??
Thanks

Hello Steve,

Open the system settings and in there the settings for your digital system.
There you can choose to activate the back synchronization of commands made on your digital system. I do not know the exact term used in the program at the moment.

Hi Markus again....

are you referring to the  "link solenoid devices" command.? If so my system displays a error message that reads "No suitable digital system installed. Solenoid device link manager will be closed." I think this may be a cause of my problem.
Obviously I do have a system installed as everything else is working..! Any ideas ?
Thanks Steve

Hi Steve,

Open the system settings, Index card Digital systems. Select your digital system within the list. Now check "Display of solenoid device position changes done via digital system/throttle" below the list (I hope I found the correct English label).

hi Markus,

I have found where to change this in "system settings," I have located and ticked the box next to "Display of Solenoid Device position changes done by digital system / throttle"  However  this does not seem to make any difference to the problem I am having. The Marklin CS 2 to the Windigipet program still does not seem to register the change in state of a Yellow/Green aspect signal on the Windigipet program Yet the signal will change correctly and shows up on the CS 2.

Any ideas..??

Hi Steve,

how did you configure the signal in the track diagram editor in the solenoid device address dialog.

You need to configure:
1. Address = address of the signal
2. Address = address of the signal plus 1
You need to set the Green check box for the second address, not the red one
You need to select the signal type LDT/Märklin light signal in the list within the dialog.

I tested this a few seconds ago. Works perfect. Is version 2015.1 installed?

Regards
Markus

Hi Markus,

Thanks for the reply and Bingo..!!

The config you suggested now works. It was the tick in the second address to green that I didn't have. everything else was identical.

Problem now solved and also a thanks re my other question on " solenoid device linking". I'm not sure  if this is clear in the English manual though.? Maybe worth a note when next updating.
Otherwise thanks again for your help, this is great service and is much appreciated.

Steve
