IB, Control Unit and Booster?

Hello.

From my "old" setup, I have laying around an unused Control Unit and an unused Control 80f from Maerklin. I am now using the Intellibox for my layout.  The layout is now in need of a Booster.  I think I have read somewhere that the Control Unit may be used as a booster together with the IB.  Do you know if this is correct?  In that case, how do I connect it?

This may be a bit off topic for this forum, but I think the expertice may be here..

I've check the German Forum and I found some Information about that.

You can't use the 6021 Contol Unit as a Booster to drive the train in those combination.

All what you can do is.
You can use the Control Unit + Interface as a seperat Unit, to handle the Magnetic article (k83, K84 and so on)

that is possible in the Pro X Version.

What you should do is, to buy a seperat Booster for the IB. For example:

Hello !

Thank you very much !  I will look for a seperate booster, I think.  I was sure I had read somewhere that it was possible to use an old control-unit as booster, but I must have been wrong.  The boosters are very expensive in Norway, and importing it from another country is also expensive because of the VAT, customs etc.
