I have a problem when using the HSI interface with two Viessmann 5233 feedback module. In this case when starting Digipet, the software hangs after initialisation of the HSI interface. The message in the pop-up window says that the interface is initialsed with 13 modules. When the software hangs, I have to use the task manager of Windows to kill the WDIGIPET process in order to stop it. During the initialisation of the software, I can see the read LED flickering on the HSI interface, but it light off after a while. When I disconnect the two Viessmann module from the S88 bus, I can start WIndigipet without any problem.
To connect the HSI interface, I'm using a USB to RS232 cable as I'm running out of serial ports. I've also a Lenz LI101 interface connected using a USB to RS232 cable, and the connection with Windigipet is running fine.
I'm running WindowsXP SP1 with 256 Mbytes of RAM, the RS232 port is 9600Bauds, 8 Bits, 1 Stop, No parity and Hardware handcheck. I'm using the french Windigipet 8.1 demo software, as I'm planning to buy the real software once I can see the demo working.
Any advices are welcome...
