WPD 2009 in English
« am: 02. Juni 2009, 02:29:30 »
Hi Marcus & Dr Peterlin,

I'm itching to use WPD 2009 with my CS2, sadly my Deutsch is not good enough. (I have WPD X and tried the new demo) Do you have an estimate of the release of the English version. I looking forward to it.

Thanks so long.

Pieter

So when can we get the English version of WDP 2009?

Hello Pieter,

We started the translation a few days ago. The manual has more than 500 pages. This translation will last some months. I think the version might be avaiable in late fall. I do this translation in my free time, so the speed of translation depends on the amounts of duties in my normal job and family within the next months.

Regards
Markus

Hello Markus,

That is good & bad news, I would actually like to get the WPD 2009 in English even without the manual and use my old X.3 manual so that I can use WPD with my CS2. I don't think it can be that much different to the previous version. Perhaps new features might be unknown but the important part would be to use WPD with CS2. I just think to buy the German version now and the English version later, will not be a good idea

Markus I do appreciate the huge task to translate 500 pages and I want you to spent as much time as possible with your family and your trains.

Thanks

Pieter
