Profile in tours versus routes

Hello WDP'rs
I'm having trouble getting sound functions of locomotives to play when it passes through the intended route with these functions while on a tour. It works well when I run the route by itself from start contact to destination contact. It also works when it stops at the start contact of the route first before proceeding with the tour.
It doesn't work when it goes through the route when the next route is free in the tour. I do have delays before the sound functions of the locomotive at the start contact though...could this be the problem?
I did make sure that the "ignore sound files when passing through" was not checked.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Elliott

Hi Elliott,
I guess that your sound command is located at the stop contact or at least behind the test(?) contact (Prüfkontakt). I mean that contact where WDP tests if the next route is free. If WDP detects that the next route is free than all commands of the stop contact (or all contacts behind the test contact) will be ignored. Usually the test contact is the break contact (Bremskontakt).

Hello Stefan,
Actually it is the start contact of the next route...which in fact is the stop contact of the current route. Is that my problem? It will ignore the stop contact which is equal to the start contact of the next route when the next route is free. I guess to remedy that situation, I should force a stop in the current route and not have a check contact?
The sound works fine when the locomotive stops at the contact before the next route.
Thanks again,
Elliott
