Keep/change F1-Fn in Profiles...?

Hello.
I have a "problem"...:
Running with profiles, I sometimes want to include some of the functions F1-Fn in a profile, for example let all locos blow a horn at one certain point. So I include this in a profile. Works fine. BUT, If I already have turned on another F manually, for example engine-sound, this sound will is turned OFF again in the same profile. (Or it will always be turned ON if I include that in the profile. I want the sound ON only when I have manually turned it on..).
Yes, I know there is a "Keep functions unchanged" option for the profile, but then the whistle will not sound either.
Is there a way around this? I would like to be able to keep ALL OTHER functions unchanged, EXCEPT the one(s) I actualle DO want to change in this profile. Is there a way to do this?
Also, having now a LOT of profiles, I would like to be able to quickly edit ALL profiles so that only the functions I do want to change, will be changed. Can I set this for all my profiles at once?
Best regards,
Per.

Hello Per,
Are you trying to activate functions while the locomotive is in a specific profile for a particular route? If so, the profile will override any manual settings you activate as the profile for that particular route is executed. If you want to manually activate functions, then I would suggest running the route in Standard mode without profiles.
I hope I understood what you meant.
Best regards,
Elliott

Hello Per,
Have you tried using the LokID0 in your profiles? If you set all your functions to 'on' or 'off' as desired on the first contact in the route, you can turn the functions on or off manually on the remaining contacts as long as the remaining contacts do not change the functions status. Please note that the precedence for the routes is as follows:
1) Profiles for specific locomotives
2) Profiles using LokID0
3) Standard Routes
Hope this helps,
Elliott

Hello.
No, this is not the problem. As I wrote, I would like to be able to keep ALL OTHER functions unchanged, EXCEPT the one(s) I actually DO want to change in this profile.
I run with profiles all the time now (GREAT feature!). Both ID0 and specific profiles for specific locos. Anyways, I still want to be able to do some tasks every time the profile is activated, like blowing a horn at a certain point, but at the same time leave ALL other functions as they are. For example if I have manually turned on engine-sound, I want it to still be ON (or OFF, if that was the case) when passing the profile that blows the horn. Today I cannot see how this can be done.
Best regards,
Per.
