Many thanks.

Hello Gleisundzug,
First of all, which version of Windigipet are you testing (WDP 2009)? Also, do you run 2-rail or 3-rail track? Attached you will find a screenshot of where to select the
reed
contacts in the track diagram editor.
Hope this helps,
Elliott

Hi. I'm using a demo version for tryout. 3-rail track. I've tried to configure as your attachement, but it as no signal or does not activate light signal.
Thanks,
Gleisundzug.

Hello Gleisundzug,
To detect track occupancy(i.e. for the signal to light up) you need to use feedback modules. Which feedback modules(i.e. s88's) are you using? These modules need to be setup in the System Settings where you input your controller under the
Feedback Modules
tab. How is your system setup?

Elliott

Hello Gleisundzug,
which digital system are you using and is it WDP 2009 demo you are trying or a different one? Reed contacts are only working with WDP 2009.

Hi. I have S88 module's. All my layout is working with CS2 and all reed's working to signal management with S88. I´ve eard of win-digipet and i'm doing some tryouts to check this program, so have downloded the 2009 demo version to do this tryout's. And one of the things i'm trying to anderstand is train occupancy detection, them i've tryed with feedback reed's and didn't work.
Many thanks,
Gleisundzug.

Hello Gleisundzug,
Do your reed contacts work with the CS2 when not connected to WDP? Have you entered your s88's into the system settings under Feedback Contacts? I also use the CS2 in conjunction with WDP 2009. I use contact tracks rather than Reed contacts to detect trains. Have you considered using contact tracks? A contact track is easy to make using "K" track or even "C" track if you use either of these. You simply have to isolate one rail from the other and connect the isolated rail to your s88. The metal wheels from your locomotives and wagons will bridge the gap and make a connection signalling the s88 that it is occupied.

Elliott
