Some basic help...

Hello,

I think I need some basic help... I have setup the system (using Uhlenbrock IBCOM), I have tracks, switches/turnouts, feedback monitors working. I can make routes. I can manually command trains to run one route..

But, I fail to get it to run automatically.. I have made a Tour in the Tour editor, name it "test". I press (A) automatic, select AK_test, press the red button (so it gets green), but nothing happens...

I have a feeling I do something very basic wrong....

Hello Peter,

which version of WDP are you using? Did you enter your tour into the automatic editor? If yes which one? If no then you have to do so. I recommend the tour automatic editor (ZFA) rather then the old AK (feedback automatic) . But not every WDP version has got the ZFA.

I'm using WDP 2009 Small Edition English version.

I go into the "Tour Editor" and add the routes by right clicking.. But how do I activate the Tour..?

Hi Peter,

as you have the Small edition you don't have the ZFA. However you have the feedback automatic. I don't know the correct English term for it as I have the German version. Look at the icons st the top. To the right of the tour editor there must be an automatic editor. Choose this and enter there your route. Save it and than start the automatic as you already did before. (where you set the signal to green.)
