Operating Hours and Measure Speed Profile
« am: 29. März 2013, 06:08:42 »
Now that my new computer and WDP 2012 have stopped fighting each other, I have spent the past few days recalibrating my loco fleet from a 3 point measuring curve to the 15 point curve and I have noticed that WDP does not track the operating hours during the measurement test cycle..

When we had only three points, this was understandable as the whole test is over in a few minutes, but 30 measurement points (15 in each direction) takes at least 30 minutes to complete. On more than one loco I have needed to run the test a few times due to errors or inconsistencies of the reported measurement..

As my locos only run using WDP, I use the operating hours in the maintenance tab of the locomotive (sorry vehicle) database to ensure that my loco fleet is properly maintained.

Could the capability to record operating hours during the speed measurement test cycle, please be added to future versions of WDP?  In the meantime, I have to make a manual entry in the database after every test..

Regards
Adrian
