Hello.
I have WDP (latest version, german) installed on my main computer. I run backups regularly, no problem. Restore also, no problem. Mostly I do it manually.
But sometimes (in fact, quite often..) I bring my laptop with me from my house to a weekend-house, where I do some work on my layout in that laptop. When I return home, I make another backup from the laptop and copy back to the main PC. All this works 100% (these backup/restores are done manually).
Sometimes my son stays at home in the weekend and run the WDP program and drive trains around. He only drives the trains with the automatics or by "Stellen und Fahren". And he changes the loc/waggon combos and langths (using the switching yard).
So my question is: How can copy the changes that I have made on my laptop during the weekend on the routes, automatics, timetables etc, back to my home-PC, without over-writing my sons new settings/placing/lengths of locos and waggons on the layout? Is it even possible?
Otherwise, I cannot make changes to the routes etc during the weekend if my son is running the trains during the same weekend.
Hope it is possible....
Best regards,
Per.
