WDP intermittant error message

I am running WDP Premium 2012.2.348 with an Acer laptop and Windows 7. Every now and then I loose control of my program during a Fahrt Str, with the error message :-

Eine Vorgang kann nicht abgeshlossen werden, da eine Komponente (WDPUdV3) nicht reagiert. Wahlen Sie  "Wechseln zu", um die Komponente zu aktiveren und das Problem zu behaben.

I then activate the box "Wechseln zu" and I have once again contol. This error appears perhaps once a day, sometimes every few minutes without any obvious reason, that is at different times with different profiles and Locomotives running etc.. Main house power line is I believe, stable.
What am I doing wrong ?

Hi Dave,

we had a lot of discussions in the recent days within the German forum with starting problems or other strange problems with WDP. The above mentioned file was among them. The problem are the anti virus programs, in most cases Avast which find a virus where there's none. All of the WDP files are fires free. What you can do is to add this file to the whitelist of your anti virus program. Avast already released a new virus database where this mistake is eliminated.

Dear Stefan, many thanks for your quick informative reply. Bernd Senger very kindly sent me an abreviated version of your mail this morning. To cut a long story short, I reactivated my anti virus software 'MALWAREBYTES' and waited for the results. More than 900 viruses isolated and destroyed, two of which were malisious. Two hours with WDP, no'WDPUdV3'
