English manual version 2015

Hello.

I just downloaded the big english manual.  It took nearly 1 year since the release of the software.  Though it took a very long time, I want to express my greatest THANKS to Markus for the big work.  Thanks a lot !!!

Now I have a lot of reading to do

I would also like to add my thanks for the great effort with the English manual. There are only a few errors and about five spots where there are untranslated paragraphs (second last paragraph on page 539 is an example) - a sign of some very late nights indeed!  None of the errors detract from the information provided by the manual so there is no urgency to update the manual.

I also like the expanded sections - especially the extra information about home networks. I get asked lots of questions about this from eCos and CS2 owners - so I am sure it is a common question on the WDP hotline.  I also like the expanded section on the digital systems that work with WDP.

During the next couple of weeks I plan to work though the manual in detail using the Demo layout.  Would you like me to capture screenshots for a possible future updated of English edition manual?  I could save them as (say) fig3.7.JPG for Figure 3.7 .

Hello Adrian,

can you provide me the numbers of the five untranslated paragraphs. Then I will correct them.

Thank for your offer regarding the figures. But I think we will not change the decission to use only german figures, because every update of the german versions might provide new/changed figures and then we would need to correct the english ones too.

Hi Adrian,

thanks. In four of five cases I just had to remove the german paragraph (when I translate I do write the english paragraph above the german paragraph and then I need to remember to delete the german version...).
I´ve just uploaded the changed version.
