Hi. Is there a way to set turnout speed limit for branch setting?

Regards.

Hello Derin,

it depends on what drives you use

Thank you very much for your reply.

What does it mean "what drives"?

I'm new to the software, sorry.

Regards.

Hello Derin,

this has nothing to do with the software but with the hardware
for the soft there are different turnout drives
Which one did you use?
1. coil drives
2. servos or
3. the MP5 turnout drive

Ok, I'm using Marklin C-Track turnouts with Marklin's coil drive and its own decoder.

Hello Derin,

You can't do that with the coil drives.
What kind of decoder do you use
K83 / K84 ?

Neither of those, installation decoder located under the turnout itself.

All automation softwares can speed down the train to a preset limit if the turnout is not straight. I'm now wondering what is to do with turnout motor type and why Windigipet can not do it in the software?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Derin,

i suggest, there is a missunderstandig by Hubert ti your question. Of course you can set a speed limit if a turnout is in a defined position. Normally the speed will be set in a route depending on default speed settings in system-configuration or either on contacts. Within the routes turnouts will be switched to the needed position for the route.

You can also use profiles to set various speeds and of course you'll be able to put these speedsettings under conditions (e.q. 60km/h ift the turnout is not straight...or anything else)

Regards
Bernd

Hi. Exactly as you said, finally I've managed to do this using profiles, but writing manually. Now, I'm searching for a way to do it using conditions. :)
Best regards.
